Hailing from sunny San Diego, I swapped the beach for academia, diving into applied mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh. A fascination with the intricate dance of code and biology then drew me to graduate work in Computational Biology at Carnegie Mellon University. Now a seasoned software engineer since 2012, Pittsburgh feels like home, where I sharpen my strategic mind on the 64 squares, unravel the world's wonders through travel, and conjure magical creations with LEGO bricks.
