Inder is also on the cover of the Winter/Spring EdgeDiscovery, a quarterly publication by Edge, a nonprofit technology consortium for education, government, and healthcare organizations.

Inder's "leadership is reshaping network infrastructure to accelerate scientific discovery," says Forough Ghahramani, Edge's Assistant Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Sponsored Programs, in her editor's note introducing the issue. "As Al, quantum computing, and data-intensive research demand unprecedented connectivity, Inder's work in pioneering advanced networking solutions ensures that researchers can seamlessly move from data to insight. His vision for integrating Al-driven automation and quantum networking underscores the future of research cyberinfrastructure, positioning ESnet as a critical enabler of groundbreaking discoveries."

In EdgeDiscovery's in-depth feature profile, other technology leaders share their perspectives on Inder's work with ESnet — including Vint Cerf, known as one of the "Fathers of the Internet" and currently Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist for Google.

“I have watched ESnet evolve over many years and under more than one leader. Inder Monga stands out, not only for his impressive technical engineering talents, as evidenced by his 25 patents and multiple high-profile projects, but also for his rare ability to assemble, inspire, and lead cross-functional teams with skills far beyond his own expertise," says Cerf. "Under Inder’s prescient leadership, ESnet has been persistently innovative, its impact reaching far beyond the federal government.”
